Origin - Vietnam #Broth #Flavorful #Noodles

Pho, pronounced as “fuh”, is considered one of the most famous Vietnamese dishes in the U.S. This noodle soup is so elemental to Vietnamese culture that people talk about it in romantic relationships. “Rice is the dutiful wife you can rely on, and Pho is the flirty mistress you slip away to meet.”

[ Fun Fact ]

In Vietnam, there are several variations to Pho that are geographically divided into regions… the North sometimes uses minced rare beef topped with sliced ginger and the South uses various types of meats for their Pho.

[ History ]

Although Pho is Vietnam’s most famous dish, no one really knows how it came to be. All we know is that Pho has French and Chinese influences and began on the side of the road, on the shoulders of street vendors who wandered cities with a big pot of broth and stoves.
